Description
Steering wheel control interface and adapter cable for Audi cars with ISO and mini ISO connectors behind the factory radio. This adapter cable allows the fitting of a new aftermarket radio by adapting the original connectors in the car to ISO and has a built in CANbus interface to retain the use of the original radio steering wheel controls.
This interface also has a built in high to low level adapter for which allows the new stereo to work with the original amplifier to drive the rear speakers in the car and the subwoofer. The high to low level adapter gives an higher audio signal to the amplifier compared to using line output phono leads. Gives volume, seek, source, and telephone commands to an after market radio.
The CANbus interface will generate an ignition power supply to the new radio, it will also give out an illumination signal, speed pulse signal, reverse gear output and handbrake output.

Installation Notes
- Blue wire (Antenna turn-on Output) - Connect this to the separate blue wire usually found on our antenna adapters (21-120K, 21-139k) If not present please ignore this, it is not required!
- Purple wire (Reverse Gear Output) - This wire will provide a signal to the vehicle's head unit when the vehicle is in reverse. This will trigger the video screen to show the video from the backup camera on the screen.
- Pink wire (Speed Pulse Output) - Some stereos / navigation systems have a speed pulse wire and this tells the new stereo how fast or slow the vehicle is travelling.
- Green wire (Parking Brake Output) - If your new stereo has a touchscreen or video monitor, this wire acts as a switch to turn on the video monitor when the parking brake is engaged.

IMPORTANT NOTE
- China Branded Headunit, please make sure your unit has 3 wires for connecting the patch lead to the car stereo that you are installing.
- Please make sure that is the correct Steering Control Adaptor for your vehicles by firstly checking to see if your make, model and year of car is listed in the advert. Secondly by checking to see if the connection in the picture is the same as you have in your vehicle. If the connection in the car is different from what you see in the picture then this adaptor is NOT suitable.
