For double din installation the central bar of the fascia needs to be cut out.

Fascia Adaptor

This adaptor will convert the non din-sized aperture left after removing the factory stereo to a din size ready for head unit installation. The high quality finish, colour and texture are designed specifically to maintain the original look of your vehicles interior.

The fascia adaptor allows the fitting of an aftermarket radio into the dashboard by matching the shape, style and colour of the original radio.
Use the supplied pocket with the fascia adapter to fit a single din radio, or remove the pocket and use the fascia trim only to fit a double din aftermarket head unit. For double din installation the fascia takes a 113mm high cage, this is the size of cages supplied with all major brand head unit manufacturers.

Radio Replacement Adaptor Cable

Radio replacement adapter cable for Volkswagen cars with quadlock connectors at the back of the original radio.
This adapter harness adapts from the original quadlock style connector in the dashboard to a standard aftermarket ISO connector to allow the fitting of an aftermarket radio upgrade.
This lead has a loose wire that needs to be connected to an ignition power supply. The original radio in the car is turned on via a CANbus data signal so there is no ignition power supply in the vehicle's original connector.

Aerial Adaptor

An Aerial Adaptor is needed when replacing the original factory fitted head unit with an aftermarket head unit.

Male Fakra to Male DIN antenna adapter cable with phantom power supply.
This cable adapts from a Farka antenna connection at the back of the cars original radio to a standard aftermarket DIN antenna connection to allow the fitting of an aftermarket radio upgrade.
This is an active adapter cable, the loose blue wire connects to the antenna power output from the new radio and diverts the power supply down the core of the antenna cable to turn on the antenna amplifier in the car.
For double din installation the central bar of the fascia needs to be cut out.

Important Fascia Notes

• China units have a reputation to be over sized and may require modification to the fascia to allow it to fit.
• We do not take any responsibility for China units not fitting as they are not industry standard size.
• If the cage supplied with the stereo does not fit the fascia then you must purchase a universal cage which is slightly smaller.
