This InCarTec Ford 9-inch stereo fitting kit allows selected 9-inch Perfect Fit stereos to be installed into compatible Ford vehicles originally equipped with rectangular factory radios, such as the Ford 6000CD or Sony 6CD.

The kit is designed for vehicles with factory steering wheel audio controls and includes the parts required to fit a compatible 9-inch aftermarket stereo while retaining steering wheel button functionality. It includes a matt black 9-inch fascia panel, Ford Quadlock steering wheel control interface harness, Pioneer patch lead and ISO to DIN aerial adapter.

This fitting kit is compatible with selected 9-inch Perfect Fit stereos including the Pioneer SPH-PF97BT, Alpine INE-AX809 and Kenwood DMX80AXS. These 9-inch Perfect Fit stereos are usually much shallower than conventional 2-DIN stereos, meaning less work is usually required behind the dashboard. This can help reduce installation time and is useful for both professional fitters and retail customers carrying out a stereo upgrade.

The fascia panel adapts the Ford dashboard aperture to provide a clean, OEM-style finish after the original rectangular radio has been removed. The built-in steering wheel control interface allows the original Ford steering wheel audio buttons to operate compatible aftermarket stereo functions such as volume, track skip and source, depending on the vehicle and head unit.

Compatibility

This kit is compatible with Ford models originally fitted with rectangular radios such as the 6000CD or Sony 6CD (square-shaped). It is not suitable for oval-shaped factory radios.

9 inch fascia adapter

Designed for use with various Ford vehicles, this fascia is designed for installation of the Pioneer 9” stereo. Built as a bespoke fit for vehicles in the application list, it adapts the dashboard aperture after removing the factory stereo to accept a universally mounted 4-screw head unit. This ensures compatibility with the Pioneer 9 inch system while retaining the original OEM-style appearance of the dashboard.

Steering wheel control interface

Steering wheel control interface and adapter cable for Ford C-Max, Fiesta, Focus, Fusion, Galaxy, Kuga, Mondeo, S-Max and Transit vehicles to fit an aftermarket radio upgrade.

The cable adapts from the Quadlock connector in the car to standard aftermarket ISO connectors. This replaces the need for a separate ISO radio replacement adapter cable.

This interface will allow the original audio control buttons on the steering wheel to work with the new aftermarket radio. The interface will work the volume, track skip and source buttons.

ISO to DIN Antenna adapter

Antenna adapter cable for European cars that have an ISO original style antenna cable. This cable converts the cars existing ISO aerial plug to an aftermarket DIN type used by Clarion, JVC, Pioneer, Sony and other Japanese, Chinese and American radio manufacturers.

Universal Patch Lead

This cable plugs into the ICT control box and connects to the 3.5mm socket or single wire on the back of the new head-unit. This item has loose wires and leads so it can be configured to suit the brand of radio being fitted.

Important Fascia: 

• This fascia is designed to fit only Kenwood and Pioneer Perfect Fit 9" stereos. 
• No other stereo brand is suitable.
