Some minor modifications are required behind the cars factory dashboard, this involves cutting an area of the sub-dash to allow room for the aftermarket car stereo. We recommend this is completed by a professional car audio installer. Please see instructions for full kit preparation and dashboard modifications.
SUITABLE FOR THIS DASH STYLE LAYOUT
Fascia Adaptor
Replacement car stereo audio fascia to enable you to change the original radio in the car to a Double DIN aftermarket version. This fascia adapter allows the fitting of an aftermarket radio into the cars dashboard by matching the shape, style, size and colour of the original OEM factory fitted radio.
This fascia kit uses side fixing brackets, the brackets fit directly to the sides of the new radio and the fascia panel. This replaces the need for a fitting cage and gives a flush professional appearance to the installation.
Wiring Harness
The wiring harness will allow to install the stereo without having to cut any wires. This Female ISO to Male ISO adapter is required when replacing your factory fitted radio with an aftermarket radio. It will convert the original vehicle power & speaker wiring connectors to a standard ISO connector.
Aerial Adaptors
An Aerial Adaptor is needed when replacing the original factory fitted head unit with an aftermarket head unit.
Important Fascia:
- The fascias are made to suit industry standard sized stereos such as Alpine, JVC, Kenwood, Pioneer, Sony etc, NOT INCLUDING China units or unbranded units.
- China units have a reputation to be over sized and may require modification to the fascia to allow it to fit.
- We do not take any responsibility for China units not fitting as they are not industry standard size.
Car Audio Fitting Accessories are sold with limited instructions. Some knowledge of car audio installation is helpful, as in some rare cases "modification" may be necessary or needed.
