This VW Crafter 9-inch Perfect Fit stereo fitting kit allows selected 9-inch aftermarket stereos to be installed into compatible Volkswagen Crafter 2017-2023 models with factory Composition Audio Type 1 or Type 2 head units.

The kit is designed for vehicles without factory steering wheel audio controls and provides the main fitting parts required to replace the original radio with a compatible 9-inch Perfect Fit stereo. It includes a 10.1-inch fascia adapter, 10.1-to-9-inch step-down mounting plate, CANbus ignition interface with ISO connections and a Fakra to DIN aerial adapter with 12V phantom power feed.

These 9-inch Perfect Fit stereos are usually much shallower than conventional 2-DIN stereos, meaning less work is usually required behind the dashboard. This can help reduce installation time and is useful for both professional fitters and retail customers carrying out a stereo upgrade.

The 10.1-inch fascia adapter is supplied with a 10.1-to-9-inch step-down mounting plate, allowing a compatible 9-inch Perfect Fit head unit to sit neatly within the original dashboard opening. Built as a bespoke fit for vehicles in the application list, the fascia helps retain the original OEM-style appearance of the dashboard after the factory stereo has been removed.

The supplied CANbus ignition interface converts the vehicle’s original 52-pin quadlock connector to standard aftermarket ISO connections. It also provides an ignition feed 12V for the new aftermarket stereo, reducing the need to find a separate ignition power source from the fuse box.

The included aerial adapter converts the original Fakra antenna connector to a standard DIN connection and includes a 12V phantom power feed to power the original antenna amplifier.

Fascia Adaptor

Designed for use with selected Volkswagen Crafter 2017-2023 models, this matt black fascia adapter allows compatible 9-inch Perfect Fit stereos to be installed neatly into the original dashboard location.

This 10.1-inch fascia adapter is supplied with a 10.1-to-9-inch step-down mounting plate, allowing selected 9-inch Perfect Fit stereos to fit cleanly within the dashboard. Built as a bespoke fit for vehicles in the application list, the fascia adapts the dashboard aperture after removing the factory stereo to accept a universally mounted 4-screw 9-inch head unit.

ISO Radio Replacement CANbus Interface

Upgrade your Volkswagen Crafter from 2017 onwards with our premium radio replacement ISO adapter cable, designed specifically for vehicles equipped with original basic radios. This innovative adapter seamlessly converts your car's original 52-pin quadlock connector to standard aftermarket ISO connectors, making stereo upgrades effortless.

One of the standout features of this adapter is its built-in CANbus interface. The integrated CANbus not only simplifies the connection but also provides an ignition power supply directly to your new aftermarket radio. This means you can say goodbye to the tedious task of hunting for an ignition power source from the fuse box—installing your new stereo has never been easier!

Additionally, our adapter cable includes an extension that allows re-connection of the original radio. This is particularly beneficial for making vital adjustments to your vehicle settings, such as changing the time and date or toggling vehicle stability control (VSC) on and off.

Fakra to Male DIN aerial antenna adapter cable

This cable converts the original antenna connector in the car, known as a Fakra connector, to a standard aftermarket antenna connector, known as a DIN connector.

The adapter cable has a built in module which provides a phantom power feed to the original antenna in the car. A phantom power feed is a 12v power supply that is sent up the centre wire of the antenna cable, this powers the amplifier built into the original antenna. The antenna adapter cable has a loose wire which needs to be connected to the 12v antenna power output of the new aftermarket stereo.

The phantom power feed terminates in a junior timer receptacle terminal to make it easy to connect into the electric antenna turn on position of a standard ISO connector.

Important Fascia:

• This fascia is designed to fit only Kenwood and Pioneer Perfect Fit 9" stereos.
• No other stereo brand is suitable.
