This VW Transporter T6 9-inch Perfect Fit stereo fitting kit allows selected 9-inch aftermarket stereos to be installed into compatible Volkswagen Transporter T6 2015-2019 models with factory Composition Colour, Composition Media or Discover Media systems.

The kit provides the main fitting parts required to replace the original factory radio with a compatible 9-inch Perfect Fit stereo while retaining key original vehicle functions. It includes a 9-inch fascia adapter panel, CAN-Bus Infoadapter, USB retention lead, OEM reverse camera retention adapter, antenna adapters and universal patch lead.

This fitting kit is compatible with selected 9-inch Perfect Fit stereos including the Pioneer SPH-PF97BT, Alpine INE-AX809 and Kenwood DMX80AXS. These 9-inch Perfect Fit stereos are usually much shallower than conventional 2-DIN stereos, meaning less work is usually required behind the dashboard. This can help reduce installation time and is useful for both professional fitters and retail customers carrying out a stereo upgrade.

The supplied 9-inch fascia adapter is built as a bespoke fit for vehicles in the application list and adapts the dashboard aperture after the factory stereo has been removed. It accepts a universally mounted 4-screw 9-inch head unit and helps retain the original OEM-style appearance of the dashboard.

The included CAN-Bus Infoadapter retains factory steering wheel audio controls and steering wheel buttons while also keeping ParkPilot parking sensor visuals and climate control information available on compatible aftermarket head units. The interface can also display vehicle information such as parking sensors, climate control and heated seat information on any compatible aftermarket head unit with a rear camera input.

The included OEM reverse camera retention adapter allows the factory reverse camera to be retained when installing a compatible aftermarket stereo. A separate reverse feed is required to activate the camera on the new screen. The kit also includes USB retention to retain the original dashboard USB socket where compatible.

Fascia Adaptor

SWC / Climate Control / Park Pilot Screen Retention interface

Car Audio Steering wheel interface allowing use of original buttons with a new aftermarket head-unit. This interface allows vehicle information such as climate control, parking sensors and heated seats to be displayed on any aftermarket head unit with rear camera input. The Infodapter also allows the use of the steering wheel controls.

Double Fakra to DIN antenna adapter

This cable converts the original antenna connector in the car, known as a Double Fakra connector, to a standard aftermarket antenna connector, known as a DIN connector.

The adapter cable has a built in module which provides a phantom power feed to the original antenna in the car. A phantom power feed is a 12v power supply that is sent up the centre wire of the antenna cable, this powers the amplifier built into the original antenna. The antenna adapter cable has a loose wire which needs to be connected to the 12v antenna power output of the new aftermarket stereo.

USB adapter

USB adapter and extension to retain the use of the original dashboard mount USB socket when fitting an aftermarket head unit.

Original OEM camera retention cable

This camera retention adapter allows you to retain your factory reverse camera when installing an aftermarket stereo. The cable connects into the new Quadlock harness used for the new aftermarket head unit, and a separate reverse feed is required to activate the camera on the new screen.

29-CT Patch Lead

Universal patch lead for 29-CT series steering controls Suitable for Alpine,  Clarion, JVC, Kenwood,  Pioneer, Sony and Chinese head-units that are steering wheel remote ready.

Important Fascia: 

• This fascia is designed to fit only Kenwood and Pioneer Perfect Fit 9" stereos. 
• No other stereo brand is suitable.
