Camera Fitment & Installation

The camera is designed to secure into the third high-level brake light housing at the rear of the vehicle.

The supplied 10-metre extension cable allows the camera connection to be routed from the rear of the van to the dashboard, monitor or aftermarket head unit.

This makes CVC-REN-04 particularly suitable for larger commercial vans and long-wheelbase installations.

Video Format Compatibility

The revised specification supports CVBS / AHD and NTSC / PAL configurations.

The stereo, monitor or camera interface must support the same video format used by the supplied camera.

AHD supports higher-resolution video when used with an AHD-compatible display, while CVBS provides compatibility with many conventional analogue reversing-camera inputs.
