Tailgate vs Barn Doors

These vehicles can use different high-level brake-light housings depending on the rear-door configuration.

CVC-REN-06 is the tailgate version for vehicles fitted with a single lifting rear door.

Vehicles with two separate barn-style rear doors require CVC-REN-05.

Camera Fitment & Installation

The camera is designed to fit neatly into the vehicle's third high-level brake-light position on compatible tailgate models.

This provides a cleaner, more integrated installation than many universal reversing cameras while positioning the camera high on the rear of the vehicle.

Video Format Compatibility

The revised specification supports CVBS / AHD and NTSC / PAL configurations.

The stereo, monitor or camera interface must support the same video format used by the camera.

AHD supports higher-resolution video when used with a compatible AHD display. CVBS is a conventional analogue video format supported by many aftermarket reversing-camera inputs.
