Description
Replacement car audio fascia to enable you to change the original radio in the car to a Double DIN aftermarket version Fits Porsche 986 car models. Fits cars with or without the top cup holders.The aftermarket Head unit mounts using the supplied fitting cage.

This fascia kit requires you to relocate the HVAC heater controls (Higher dash) to the lower part of the dash where the CD storage slot/ pocket usually are.
Some trim modification is required to the original fascia (removal of central bar and fixing in place of radio cage) to fit this fascia panel.
This is suitable for cars with or without the top cupholder.
HVAC Heater Control Relocation
Some cars with original single din units have the heater controls located higher on the dashboard with the radio, these need to be moved down to where the CD storage trays are originally located.
On cars without cup holders, the fascia panel should be mounted with the curved lip at the top, below the air vents.
On cars with cup holders, the fascia panel should be mounted with the curved lip at the bottom, away from the air vents and cup. This leaves a small lip extruding below the radio.

- The fascias are made to suit industry standard sized stereos such as Alpine, JVC, Kenwood, Pioneer, Sony etc, NOT INCLUDING China units or unbranded units.
- China units have a reputation to be over sized and may require modification to the fascia to allow it to fit.
- We do not take any responsibility for China units not fitting as they are not industry standard size.
