This Mitsubishi L200 Double DIN stereo fitting kit is designed for selected 2018-2023 models with the factory touchscreen radio and original reverse camera. It allows the factory radio to be upgraded to a compatible aftermarket Double DIN stereo while helping retain important factory features, including steering wheel audio controls, the original reverse view camera and the factory DAB aerial connection.

Not Compatible With

This fitting kit is not compatible with vehicles fitted with factory 360-degree camera systems.

For Mitsubishi L200 models with an OEM 360-degree camera system, a different interface or fitting kit will usually be required.

Fascia Adaptor

The included gloss black fascia adapter allows a compatible Double DIN aftermarket stereo to be fitted neatly into the Mitsubishi L200 dashboard.

It is designed to suit Mitsubishi L200 5th Gen 2015-2023 models and helps maintain a clean, factory-style appearance around the new stereo.

Steering Wheel Control Retention

The included steering wheel control interface allows the original steering wheel audio buttons to be retained when fitting a compatible aftermarket stereo.

The supplied universal patch lead connects the steering control interface to a wide range of compatible aftermarket head unit brands. Some stereo brands may require setup or configuration to enable steering wheel control operation.

Reverse Camera Retention

The included Mitsubishi 8-pin camera retention harness is designed to retain the original OEM reverse camera on compatible Mitsubishi vehicles with the 8-pin grey camera connector.

It includes camera retention wiring with reverse trigger and 12V to 6V camera power conversion, allowing the factory reverse camera to be used with a compatible aftermarket stereo camera input.

DAB Aerial Retention

The included Fakra DAB to SMB antenna adapter allows the original factory DAB aerial connection to be adapted for use with many aftermarket DAB stereos.

This helps retain the vehicle’s original DAB aerial rather than requiring a separate universal windscreen DAB antenna.

Installation Notes

Before installation, compare the vehicle’s original radio connectors with the supplied interface, camera harness, fascia adapter and DAB aerial adapter to ensure they match visually and technically.

After fitting the aftermarket stereo, test the steering wheel audio controls, factory reverse camera image, DAB reception and any required stereo settings before fully reassembling the dashboard.

Important Fascia: 

• The fascias are made to suit industry standard sized stereos such as Alpine, JVC, Kenwood, Pioneer, Sony etc, NOT INCLUDING China units or unbranded units. 
• China units have a reputation to be over sized and may require modification to the fascia to allow it to fit.
• We do not take any responsibility for China units not fitting as they are not industry standard size.
