Description
This Mitsubishi L200 Double DIN stereo fitting kit is designed for selected 2018-2023 Barbarian X model variants when upgrading from the factory radio to a compatible aftermarket Double DIN head unit. The kit includes the required fascia, steering wheel control interface and DAB antenna adapter to help create a clean, integrated stereo upgrade.
The included CAN Bus interface helps retain key factory features including steering wheel control functionality, the OEM 360-degree camera system and the original USB input. It also provides speed pulse, park brake and reverse outputs for compatible aftermarket stereos, while the gloss black fascia panel helps the new stereo fit neatly into the dashboard.

Fascia Adaptor
The included gloss black fascia adapter allows a compatible Double DIN aftermarket stereo to be fitted neatly into the Mitsubishi L200 dashboard.

Steering Control, Camera and USB Retention
The included CAN Bus steering wheel control interface is designed to retain supported factory functions when replacing the original radio.
This includes steering wheel controls, the OEM 360-degree camera system and the factory USB port where compatible. The interface also provides useful outputs such as speed pulse, park brake and reverse for compatible aftermarket stereos.
DAB Aerial Retention
The included Fakra DAB to SMB antenna adapter allows the original factory DAB aerial connection to be adapted for use with many aftermarket DAB stereos.
This helps retain the vehicle’s original DAB aerial rather than requiring a separate universal windscreen DAB antenna.
Installation Notes
Before installation, compare the vehicle’s original radio connectors with the supplied interface and fascia parts to ensure they match visually and technically.
After fitting the aftermarket stereo, test the steering wheel controls, 360-degree camera display, factory USB input, DAB reception and any required stereo outputs before fully reassembling the dashboard.
Important Fascia:
- The fascias are made to suit industry standard sized stereos such as Alpine, JVC, Kenwood, Pioneer, Sony etc, NOT INCLUDING China units or unbranded units.
- China units have a reputation to be over sized and may require modification to the fascia to allow it to fit.
- We do not take any responsibility for China units not fitting as they are not industry standard size.
