Steering Control Interface

This cable allows you to connect an aftermarket car radio with European ISO connectors to the cars wiring using the original connectors in the car.

This cable will retain the use of the steering wheel controls when fitting an aftermarket head-units with resistive programmable steering controls (KEY1, KEY2 or SWC1, SWC2) and 3.5mm jack.

Rectangle to Din Car Aerial Antenna Adaptor Cable

Nissan grey rectangle female antenna connector to male DIN car aerial antenna adapter cable. This cable adapts from the grey plastic rectangle Nissan antenna connector in the car to a standard aftermarket male DIN connector, this is used when fitting a new aftermarket stereo.

3.5mm jack self learning programable patch lead

Patch lead for use with 20-XXX-SWC ISO steering wheel control cables to convert from 2 wire learning to 3.5mm jack.

Use with resistive programmable aftermarket units like Blaupunkt, Grundig or Road Angle. Also for some Kenwood, JVC and Sony units using their "CUSTOM" setting for steering control input by resistive programming.
This patch lead plugs into the 2 or 3 wire resistive programmable fly leads of the 20-XXX-SWC cable converts into the 3.5mm socket to then be plugged into the back of any head-unit that has self learning voltage steering control input.

Is my aftermarket head unit capable of resistive programming?

Many Unbranded, Chinese and other aftermarket head units have the capability of being able to retain the vehicles original steering wheel control features via resistive programming. Our steering wheel control harnesses eradicate the need for a separate steering wheel control interface when fitting an aftermarket head unit with resistive programming features.

To identify whether the aftermarket head unit you are fitting has resistive programming visit the manufacturers website and look under the connectivity features for the head unit. Some manufacturers describe it differently to others. For example: Kenwood describe the DMX5020DABS model as having "Programmable OEM Steering wheel Remote Function"

Important Fascia: 

• The fascias are made to suit industry standard sized stereos such as Alpine, JVC, Kenwood, Pioneer, Sony etc, NOT INCLUDING China units or unbranded units. 
• China units have a reputation to be over sized and may require modification to the fascia to allow it to fit.
• We do not take any responsibility for China units not fitting as they are not industry standard size.
