Complete stereo upgrade fitting kit to install a Double DIN aftermarket car stereo and retain the use of the factory steering wheel controls in select Audi TT 8J car models with fully amplified BOSE or Bang & Olufsen sound systems. As well as retaining use of the factory steering wheel audio controls, this fitting kit is supplied with a fascia adapter panel suitable for a Double DIN aftermarket radio. The fascia adapter allows the fitting of an aftermarket radio into the dashboard by matching the shape and style of the original radio.

A universal patch lead is supplied in the kit, this is to pair the steering control interface to the steering control input of your aftermarket Alpine, Clarion, JVC, Kenwood, Pioneer or Sony car stereo head unit.

Fascia Adaptor

Replacement car audio fascia to enable you to change the original radio in the car to a Double DIN aftermarket version. This fascia adapter allows the fitting of an aftermarket radio into the cars dashboard by matching the shape, style, size and colour of the original OEM factory fitted radio.

The fascia is flush fit, making it easier to adjust the fascia to the new aftermarket radio, making for a more professional finish

This fascia includes side fixing brackets so no fitting cage is required 

Steering Control Adaptor

Car audio and steering wheel control interface for Audi cars that have quadlock connectors behind the radio and have fully amplified BOSE audio systems. The CANbus interface will generate an ignition power supply to the new radio, via the red wire. it will also give out an illumination signal, (orange) speed pulse signal (pink), reverse gear positive output (Purple), Handbrake negative (Green) and Mute out (Yellow/Black) The interface also switches on the original digital amplifier on RNS-E systems.

Antenna Adaptor Cable

Double Fakra to DIN antenna adapter cable with 12v phantom power from a male bullet connection. This antenna adapter cable adapts from the original Double Fakra connector in the vehicle to a standard aftermarket radio DIN antenna connection for the fitting of a stereo upgrade.

Universal patch lead

Universal patch lead to be used with In car Tec 49 series steering wheel control interfaces. Use for Alpine, Clarion, JVC, Kenwood, Pioneer and Sony head units.

Important Patch lead: 

For Unbrabed / Chinese Head Units you will require a dedicated 49-000 Patch Lead

Important Fascia: 

• The fascias are made to suit industry standard sized stereos such as Alpine, JVC, Kenwood, Pioneer, Sony etc, NOT INCLUDING China units or unbranded units. 
• China units have a reputation to be over sized and may require modification to the fascia to allow it to fit.
• We do not take any responsibility for China units not fitting as they are not industry standard size.
