Complete stereo upgrade kit to install a double DIN aftermarket radio and retain the use of the steering wheel controls in a 2015 onward Toyota Avensis or 2018 onward Land Cruiser with original basic radio.

Fascia Adaptor

This adaptor will convert the non din-sized aperture left after removing the factory stereo to a din size ready for head unit installation. The high quality finish, colour and texture are designed specifically to maintain the original look of your vehicles interior.

Steering Control Adaptor

A stalk/steering wheel control adaptor enables you to utilise the original factory remote audio (whether built onto steering wheel or fitted on a stalk next to the steering wheel) with an aftermarket unit. 

A steering wheel control interface and radio adapter cable is also included. The cable adapts from the Toyota style connectors in the car to standard aftermarket ISO connectors. This replaces the need for a separate ISO radio replacement adapter cable. The steering wheel control interface is built in to the adapter cable for a plug and play installation. The interface will allow the original audio control buttons on the steering wheel to work with the new aftermarket radio. The interface will work the volume, track skip, source and phone buttons.

Aerial Adaptor

An Aerial Adaptor is needed when replacing the original factory fitted head unit with an aftermarket head unit.

An antenna adapter cable is also included, this cable adapts from the Toyota antenna connection at the back of the cars original radio to a standard aftermarket male DIN antenna connection to allow the fitting of an aftermarket radio upgrade. The Toyota connector is rectangular with a round antenna terminal inside. The antenna adapter has a loose blue wire, this needs to be connected to the antenna turn on output on the new stereo. This will turn on the original antenna amplifier in the car.

This kit is for cars with non amplified audio systems, if the car has an amplifier additional adapters may be required or the amplifier may need to be bypassed.

Universal Patch Lead

A universal patch lead is supplied in the kit, this is to pair the steering control interface to the steering control input of Alpine, Clarion, JVC, Kenwood, Pioneer, Sony and Chinese head units.

Important Fascia Notes

• The fascias are made to suit industry standard sized stereos such as Pioneer, Kenwood, Sony, Alpine, JVC etc, NOT INCLUDING China units or unbranded units. 
• China units have a reputation to be over sized and may require modification to the fascia to allow it to fit.
• We do not take any responsibility for China units not fitting as they are not industry standard size.

Car Audio Fitting Accessories are sold with limited instructions. Some knowledge of car audio installation is helpful, as in some rare case "modification" is necessary.
