Replacement car audio fascia to enable you to change the original radio in the car to a Double DIN aftermarket version

These side bars are made to replace the OEM radio on a range of European Fords built between approximately 1995 and 2005. These are distinguishable by being just slightly smaller than double DIN sized, with either a black or silver faceplate. Do not confuse them with the later rectangular or oval Ford CD6000 units which are larger than a standard double DIN aftermarket radio.

Examples of OEM radios that can be replaced by these side bars are below. This is not an exhaustive list and there are other radios of the same physical shape that can also be replaced.

In order to fit these side bars the edge lip of the original car fascia needs to be filed off.

Important Fascia Notes

• The fascias are made to suit industry standard sized stereos such as Pioneer, Kenwood, Sony, Alpine, JVC etc, NOT INCLUDING China units or unbranded units. 
• China units have a reputation to be over sized and may require modification to the fascia to allow it to fit.
• We do not take any responsibility for China units not fitting as they are not industry standard size.

Car Audio Fitting Accessories are sold with limited instructions. Some knowledge of car audio installation is helpful, as in some rare case "modification" is necessary.
