Description
Car Audio Steering wheel interface and ISO cables allowing use of original buttons with a new aftermarket head-unit.
This interface will retain the use of the steering wheel audio controls with an aftermarket head unit by adapting the original vehicle connectors to standard aftermarket ISO connectors.
Designed for select Citroen/ Fiat/Lancia and Peugeot vehicles from 2002 onwards equipped with Multiplex audio systems and OEM radios such as Clarion RD3 (PU2471/PU1633) or VDO RD3, featuring factory volume rocker buttons. The two data wires are found in the standard 8 way power ISO connector in the car.
This interface also comes with a universal patch lead to suit a variety of aftermarket head unit brands including Alpine, Kenwood, Pioneer and Sony.
This VAN-Bus audio interface enables retention of factory steering wheel controls and vehicle menu access when installing an aftermarket stereo in Citroën and Peugeot vehicles equipped with Multiplex audio specific OEM head units (VDO/Clarion RD3/D/more). The two data wires are found in the standard 8 way power ISO connector in the car.

This interface does not support vehicles with Continental RD45, Magneti Marelli RT3, or JBL amplified systems, or radios with volume control knobs only.

IMPORTANT NOTE
- China Branded Headunit, please make sure your unit has 3 wires for connecting the patch lead to the car stereo that you are installing.
- Please make sure that is the correct Steering Control Adaptor for your vehicles by firstly checking to see if your make, model and year of car is listed in the advert. Secondly by checking to see if the connection in the picture is the same as you have in your vehicle. If the connection in the car is different from what you see in the picture then this adaptor is NOT suitable.
