Ford Transit Custom Limited & Sport 2012-2016 9 Inch Stereo Fitting Kit
Install a compatible 9 inch Perfect Fit stereo while retaining supported steering wheel controls, upper display functions and parking sensor audio. Includes the Ford OEM passenger airbag light assembly required for this dashboard configuration.
This complete 9 inch stereo fitting kit is designed for selected Ford Transit Custom Limited and Sport models manufactured between 2012 and 2016. It is intended for vehicles with the original information display above the radio and the passenger airbag status light built into the factory radio assembly.
The kit includes a vehicle-specific 9 inch fascia, CAN-Bus steering wheel control interface, universal patch lead, AM/FM aerial adapter and Ford OEM passenger airbag light assembly.
It retains supported steering wheel controls, date, time and temperature display functions and factory parking sensor audio. The included airbag light assembly allows the original connector to remain connected after the factory radio has been removed.

Please check before ordering: Vehicle specifications can vary, particularly during the 2016 model year. This interface is not compatible with Euro 6 vehicles or models fitted with an “M” button. Compare the original dashboard and controls with the product images.
The airbag light cannot remain below the radio due to the 9 inch display. The supplied light assembly must be connected and safely secured behind the new stereo before vehicle power is restored. Airbag status remains visible on the instrument cluster.

Steering Wheel Controls

Parking Sensor Audio
- Retains supported factory parking sensor warnings through the replacement buzzer supplied with the interface.
Original Upper Display

Passenger Airbag Connection
- Includes a Ford OEM airbag light assembly so the original vehicle connector can remain connected behind the new stereo.
Fascia Adaptor
Integrates a compatible 9 inch Perfect Fit stereo neatly into the Transit Custom dashboard.
Steering Wheel Control Interface
The 29-CTF08 interface retains supported steering controls, upper display functions and factory parking sensor audio.
The new stereo must have a compatible wired remote-control input. Available functions depend on the vehicle controls and stereo. Telephone buttons may not be retained where they share seek functions.
The interface retains supported factory parking sensor audio using the replacement buzzer supplied with the interface.
AM/FM Aerial Adapter
The 21-106 Fakra-to-DIN adapter connects the original Ford aerial plug to the new stereo.
The included 21-106 is a passive Fakra-to-DIN aerial adapter. It does not provide phantom power and is unsuitable for aerial systems that require a powered antenna amplifier.
Universal Patch Lead
The 29-CT-025 patch lead connects the interface to compatible Alpine, Kenwood, Pioneer and other supported stereos.
Important Vehicle Compatibility
This kit is for selected Transit Custom Limited and Sport 2012-2016 models with a display above the radio and an airbag light incorporated into the factory radio. It is not compatible with Euro 6 vehicles or models fitted with an “M” button.
Original Display Retention
The interface maintains supported date, time and temperature information on the original upper display and allows supported adjustments through the steering wheel controls.
Final Installation Checks
Before refitting the dashboard, test the stereo, steering controls, upper display, parking sensor audio and radio reception. Confirm the passenger airbag light assembly is connected and safely secured before restoring vehicle power.
Important Fascia:
- This fascia is designed to fit only Kenwood and Pioneer Perfect Fit 9" stereos.
- No other stereo brand is suitable.
