Connects2 Steering Wheel Control Interface Adaptor. Connecting to the original radio connector and plugging in to the back of the new head unit is simple to fit.

A stalk/steering wheel control adaptor allows you to upgrade to an aftermarket head unit whilst maintaining use of your factory steering wheel controls or fitted on a stalk next to the steering wheel.

FITTING GUIDE

SETTING THE TIME/DATE

• 1. Press Speech to turn on the vehicle display
• 2. Press and hold Speech for two seconds to enable menu mode
• 3. Press Volume +/- to navigate to the clock setting menu option and press Speech to
•  confirm selection
• 4. Adust the time using Volume +/- and press Speech to confirm
• 5. Follow the same process to adjust the date
• 6. Once time and date have been set, press Speech to confirm
• NB: The menu option will time out after 15-20 seconds of inactivity
• 6. Connect the female vehicle specific connectors on the harness to the male vehicle
• connector from the vehicle.
• 8. Remove the car display connector from the vehicle and plug into the interface
• (please remove the dust cover from the interface before making the connection).
• 9. Connect the display connector from the loom to the vehicle (the port previously
• occupied by the car display connector, removed in Step 8.)
• Test head unit for correct operation.
• 7. Connect the chime speaker box to the loom via the 4 pin connector and the red/
• white RCA connectors to the stereo Aux Input.

Patch Lead connects a compatible car stereo with a joystick input (blue line-in mini-jack) or wire input on the back of the unit to the existing stalk/steering wheel controls of the vehicle.

Important Patch lead: 

• You can simply cut the loops / wires to select which brand you are fitting.
• Supplied with instruction sheet
• This patch lead CANNOT be used for Blaupunkt / Parrot / Becker / JVC KW-AVX  head units / Older Kenwood units with the DIN plug. For those models you need to purchase the lead from our store. Click here for additional patch leads.
• China Branded Headunit, pleas make sure your unit has 3 wires for connecting the patch lead to the car stereo that you are installing.
