The CT51-LR11 is an amplifier bypass wiring harness for use on a variety of Land Rover models. This lead allows you to connect a new aftermarket radio directly to the car's speakers after bypassing the original amplifier. This harness also allows for the retention of the original subwoofer. For Range Rover Sport and Discovery 3 cars with original Harman Kardon premium sound system amplifiers under the driver's seat.

A new amplifier will be needed to keep the original sub-woofer. This harness is not viable for LOGIC7 systems, see CT51-LR10.

When connected your new stereo may not power up, and this is no fault of the wiring harness purchased.
Audi / VW / Skoda / Fiat and other vehicles tend not to have an ignition switched live feed.
In these cases it is necessary to manually connect a spurred live feed from fuse box for example to feed switched power so the new stereo turns on and off with the key.
The wire in particular on the new wiring harness will be the red wire.

Car Audio Fitting Accessories are sold with limited instructions. Some knowledge of car audio installation is helpful, as in some rare case "modification" is necessary.
