Upgrade your BMW 3 Series with a modern 9-inch touchscreen multimedia receiver whilst retaining factory steering wheel controls and maintaining a clean OEM-style dashboard appearance. Designed specifically for BMW E90 Saloon, E91 Touring, E92 Coupe and E93 Convertible models from 2006 to 2011 without factory iDrive navigation, this complete fitting kit provides everything required for a professional stereo installation.

Originally developed for the Pioneer SPH-PF97BT, this fitting kit is also compatible with selected 9-inch Perfect Fit stereos that utilise the same mounting platform, including the Pioneer SPH-PF97BT, Alpine INE-AX809 and Kenwood DMX80AXS.

The supplied CAN-Bus steering wheel control interface allows compatible aftermarket stereos to retain factory steering wheel audio controls and important vehicle integration functions. A dedicated patch lead is included for straightforward connection, whilst the Fakra aerial adapter maintains radio reception. The vehicle-specific fascia panel delivers a seamless factory-style dashboard finish that complements the original BMW interior.

For vehicles equipped with heated seats or start/stop buttons, the additional 50-746-ASH switch relocation panel must be purchased separately to relocate these switches in place of the ash tray.

PF-115-SWC Compatibility

This kit is suitable for BMW 3 Series (E90/E91/E92/E93) 2006–2011 vehicles without OEM navigation and without iDrive. If your vehicle has heated seats or start/stop buttons, you will also need to purchase 50-746-ASH to relocate the switches in place of the ash tray.

Some cars with start/stop technology may require an additional voltage stabiliser to prevent the radio turning off when the engine restarts.

9" Fascia Adaptor

Designed specifically for BMW 3 Series (E90/E91/E92/E93) 2006–2011 vehicles without OEM navigation and without iDrive, this fascia is designed for installation of the Pioneer 9” stereo. Built as a bespoke fit for vehicles in the application list, it adapts the dashboard aperture after removing the factory stereo to accept a universally mounted 4-screw head unit. This ensures compatibility with the Pioneer 9 inch system while retaining the original OEM-style appearance of the dashboard.

Steering Wheel Control Interface

Steering wheel control interface and adapter cable for various BMW and Mini cars to fit an aftermarket radio upgrade. The cable adapts from the Quadlock connector in the car to standard ISO aftermarket ISO connectors. This replaces the need for a separate ISO radio replacement adapter cable. The CANbus steering wheel control interface will allow the original audio control buttons on the steering wheel to work with the new aftermarket radio. The interface will work the volume, track skip, source and phone buttons. The CANbus interface will also provide CANbus key present ignition, illumination, speed pulse, reverse gear and handbrake outputs. A key present ignition means the stereo will turn on with the first click of the key and stay on until the key is removed from the ignition barrel.

Some BMW cars go into Eco mode and the +12V supply to the radio drops causing the memory of the new radio to be lost, these cars will need a power supply directly from the battery to be supplied.

Fakra to DIN Antenna Adapter Cable

Male Fakra to Male DIN antenna adapter cable. This cable adapts from a Farka antenna connection at the back of the cars original radio to a standard aftermarket DIN antenna connection to allow the fitting of an aftermarket radio upgrade. This is a passive adapter cable, not suitable for cars that need a phantom power supply to turn on the antenna amplifier.

Universal Patch Lead

This cable plugs into the ICT control box and connects to the 3.5mm socket or single wire on the back of the new head-unit. This item has loose wires and leads so it can be configured to suit the brand of radio being fitted.

Important Fascia: 

• This fascia is designed to fit only Kenwood and Pioneer Perfect Fit 9" stereos. 
• No other stereo brand is suitable.
