Upgrade your BMW 3 Series (E46) from 1999 to 2006 with this dedicated 9-inch Perfect Fit fitting kit, designed specifically for vehicles equipped with factory navigation systems and a rear-mounted tuner unit with Quadlock connectors.

Designed for 9 inch Perfect Fit stereos such as the SPH-PF97BT (sold separately), this kit allows installation of a modern floating-style touchscreen head unit while retaining key factory functionality. The included K-Bus steering wheel control interface ensures that the original steering wheel audio controls continue to operate with the new Pioneer stereo.

As these vehicles feature a rear-mounted radio module, the kit includes a 5 metre Quadlock extension cable along with a 5 metre Fakra aerial extension and Fakra to DIN adapter. These components allow all necessary connections to be routed from the rear of the vehicle to the new head unit in the dashboard.

A 9-inch fascia adapter panel is included to provide a clean OEM-style dashboard finish. The supplied Pioneer patch lead ensures seamless integration between the steering wheel control interface and the head unit.

This complete installation solution is specifically designed for E46 navigation-equipped vehicles with Quadlock wiring, where standard kits are not compatible.

Fascia Adaptor

Designed specifically for BMW 3 Series (E46) from 1999 to 2006, this fascia is designed for installation of the Pioneer 9” stereo. Built as a bespoke fit for vehicles in the application list, it adapts the dashboard aperture after removing the factory stereo to accept a universally mounted 4-screw head unit. This ensures compatibility with the Pioneer 9 inch system while retaining the original OEM-style appearance of the dashboard.

Steering Wheel Control Interface

Steering wheel control interface and adapter cable for vehicles with original navigation screens that have the tuner unit in the rear of the car with the round pin connector.. The cable adapts from the 17 Round Pin connector in the car to standard ISO aftermarket ISO connectors. This replaces the need for a separate ISO radio replacement adapter cable. The CANbus steering wheel control interface is built in to the adapter cable for a plug and play installation. This interface will allow the original audio control buttons on the steering wheel to work with the new aftermarket radio.

Female ISO to Male DIN Antenna Adapter

This cable converts the cars existing ISO aerial plug to an aftermarket DIN type used by Clarion, JVC, Pioneer, Sony and other Japanese, Chinese and American radio manufacturers.

Antenna Extension

This cable is used to extend the antenna connection by 4.5 metres

Universal Patch Lead

This cable plugs into the ICT control box and connects to the 3.5mm socket or single wire on the back of the new head-unit. This item has loose wires and leads so it can be configured to suit the brand of radio being fitted.

Important Fascia: 

• This fascia is designed to fit only Kenwood and Pioneer Perfect Fit 9" stereos. 
• No other stereo brand is suitable.
