Aerial Adaptor
An Aerial Adaptor is needed when replacing the original factory fitted head unit with an aftermarket head unit. Antenna adapter cable for cars with ISO connectors that have amplified original antennas.
This cable converts the cars existing ISO aerial plug to an aftermarket DIN type used by most car radio manufacturers. It also provides a power feed to give 12v from the car radio to the cars amplified antenna.
For Alpine Radios use item 21-101 to convert the DIN end to ISO or use item 21-080
Car Audio Fitting Accessories are sold with limited instructions. Some knowledge of car audio installation is helpful, as in some rare cases "modification" may be necessary or needed.
