Steering wheel control interface and adapter cable for Audi cars with Quadlock connectors and B&O, BOSE or SYMPHONY original systems. Adaptor cable to fit a new radio to the original connectors in the car with a built in interface to retain the use of the original radio steering wheel controls when fitting an aftermarket stereo upgrade.
The interface also provides a key present ignition supply, reverse gear, handbrake and speed pulse outputs and retains the use of the amplified speakers.

This cable adapts from the original connector in the car, known as a quadlock, to standard aftermarket connectors for the new stereo, known as ISO connectors. The CANbus steering wheel control interface will retain the use of the original radio controls on the steering wheel with an aftermarket stereo. The CANbus interface generates a key present ignition supply to the new stereo, this means the stereo will turn on with the first click of the key and stay on until the key is removed from the ignition barrel. The interface also generates speed pulse, reverse gear and handbrake output signals, these are used when installing multimedia, navigation units and reverse cameras. This interface is built into the Quadlock to ISO harness adapter so installation.

The Quadlock to ISO cable also has an adjustable  built in high to low level adapter for the amplified speakers. All Audi TT 8J model cars have fully amplified audio systems. The adapter allows the new stereo to work with the original amplifier which drives all the speakers in the car and the subwoofer. The high to low level adapter gives a much cleaner audio signal to the amplifier compared to using line output phono leads.

• China Branded Headunit, please make sure your unit has 3 wires for connecting the patch lead to the car stereo that you are installing.
   
• Please make sure that is the correct Steering Control Adaptor for your vehicles by firstly checking to see if your make, model and year of car is listed in the advert. Secondly by checking to see if the connection in the picture is the same as you have in your vehicle. If the connection in the car is different from what you see in the picture then this adaptor is NOT suitable.
