Complete stereo upgrade fitting kit to install a Double DIN aftermarket radio in Vauxhall Astra J (2010-2015) car models.

Fascia Adaptor

This adaptor will convert the non din-sized aperture left after removing the factory stereo to a din size ready for head unit installation. The high quality finish, colour and texture are designed specifically to maintain the original look of your vehicles interior.

Vauxhall Astra J complete replacement car audio fascia to enable you to change the original radio in the car to a Double DIN aftermarket version. The kit has side fixing brackets which attach on the the side of the new Double DIN radio chassis so no cage is needed.  

Steering Control Adaptor

A stalk/steering wheel control adaptor enables you to utilise the original factory remote audio (whether built onto steering wheel or fitted on a stalk next to the steering wheel) with an aftermarket unit. 

Car Audio Steering wheel interface allowing use of original steering wheel  buttons with a new aftermarket head-unit. Also allows the steering wheel buttons to access the original menu system on the cars display. This interface will also retain the vehicle chimes and OEM phone buttons (if equipped)

Aerial Adaptor

An Aerial Adaptor is needed when replacing the original factory fitted head unit with an aftermarket head unit.  

Fakra to DIN antenna adapter cable with 12v phantom power. This antenna adapter cable adapts from the original Fakra connector in the vehicle to a standard aftermarket radio DIN antenna connection for the fitting of a stereo upgrade.

Universal Patch Lead

A universal patch lead is included, this matches the steering wheel control interface to the input on the back of the new stereo.

Additional Fitting Notes For The Interface

• Dip switch 1, ON=Pioneer radio, OFF=Sony radio
• Dip switch 2, ON=cars with 2 line display, OFF=cars with 4 line display 
• This kit is only for vehicles with original standard radios. Not for vehicles with original navigation units.

Important Fascia Notes

• The fascias are made to suit industry standard sized stereos such as Pioneer, Kenwood, Sony, Alpine, JVC etc, NOT INCLUDING China units or unbranded units. 
• China units have a reputation to be over sized and may require modification to the fascia to allow it to fit.
• We do not take any responsibility for China units not fitting as they are not industry standard size.

Car Audio Fitting Accessories are sold with limited instructions. Some knowledge of car audio installation is helpful, as in some rare case "modification" is necessary.
