Complete sub amplifier fitting kit to install a monoblock amplifier in a Range Rover L322 or BMW X5 (E53) with original DSP amplifier to retain the subwoofers when changing to an aftermarket radio.

This amplifier fitting kit includes

• BLAM Ultra Compact D Class 4 x 75W Mono Block Amplifier (BL-RA754D)
• DSP Amp Bypass with Sub Retention (20-329)
• RCA Phono Cable 5m (32-109)
• RCA Y-Leads (32-103 x2)

This kit is suitable for cars with original DSP amplifier only.

This new amplifier is installed when using amp bypass kit such as FK-983/2 or FK-770-DSP. Due to the way the original amplifier work, it cannot be retained and used when fitting a new head unit and must be bypassed. The head unit fitting kits provide outputs to the speakers, this kit adds an amplifier to retain the original twin voice coil subwoofers.

This kit has a special bypass cable taking the power supply to the original amplifier to provide power to the new monoblock amplifier. The cable replaces part of the 20-316 lead provided in the FK-983/2 or FK-770-DSP.

Phono leads are provided to connect the new head-unit to the amplifier. The cars sub-woofer wires are connected to the new amplifier outputs 

The new amplifier is small enough to hide away in the same cubby holes as the original amplifier and tuner modules. The levels of the subwoofers can be adjusted on the tuning pots on the amplifier.
