7-inch Installation Kit for VW platforms (MIB-PQ - Seat, Skoda and Volkswagen)

The installation kit KIT-HALO-VW303 lets you perfectly integrate a 1DIN Alpine Halo system (INE-F904D, INE-F904DC, iLX-F905D, iLX-F115D) or 2DIN Head Unit such as the iLX-705D, INE-W720D or INE-W720DC into a compatible Volkswagen, Seat or Skoda vehicle.

The KIT-HALO-VW303 includes a CAN to UART interface featuring support of the steering wheel remote control buttons (latest data protocol including SIRI and OK Google support). It also supports the small display in the instrument cluster (MFD), as well as the visual parking display (PDC) and air condition / heating display (HVAC). You get easy analog signal output from the CAN bus for ignition, parking brake, speed pulse and reversing signal.

An antenna adapter with phantom feed and a power Quadlock adapter are included as well. You can even directly connect the original VW / Skoda / Seat microphone and reversing camera with the wiring harness.

SCREEN NOT INCLUDED

Only for cars with white MFD (Multifunctional display). Not compatible with radios with CAR button.

No support for original RGB cameras

Note: For cars with white MFD, if the car was not equipped with a screen before, it may be necessary to program the vehicle in order to enable the visualisation. Please consult with an authorised dealer or service workshop.

The KIT-HALO-VW303, combined with the INE-F904D, INE-F904DC, iLX-F905D, iLX-F115D, INE-W720D, INE-W720DC, iLX-705D brings cutting edge multi-media / navigation into your compatible Volkswagen, Seat or Skoda vehicle. It allows perfect integration of a compatible Alpine Head Unit in your vehicle and includes all required parts.

Retains Steering Wheel Controls

Unlike other manufacturers, the Alpine system is fully compatible with the vehicle’s steering wheel control buttons, including telephone accept & decline buttons including SIRI and OK Google support.

Multi-Function Display (MFD) Support

The KIT-HALO-VW303 supports the Multi-Function Display (MFD) in the instrument cluster. When connected to an Alpine Head Unit, the MFD will display radio station names, song titles and artist information, caller names, navigation turn-by-turn arrows and other useful information.

Note: The display of turn-by-turn arrows in the MFD is supported only for the INE-F904D / INE-F904DC / INE-W720D / INE-W720DC devices.

Retains Parking Sensors Display

If your car is equipped with original parking sensors, you can continue to use this convenient feature when upgrading to an Alpine Head Unit. The parking sensor system is connected to your Alpine screen, showing a convenient distance display.

Retains Air Condition Display

The Head Unit gives you visual feedback for the selected temperature of driver and co-driver, AC status, seat heating level, selected air vents and more. This screen will automatically appear for a few seconds when any of the named settings is changed to give the driver feedback.

Compatible with Original Reversing Camera

You can continue to use your original Volkswagen / Seat / Skoda reversing camera with the KIT-HALO-VW303.

Note: Not compatible with original RGB cameras.

Compatible with Original Microphone

The KIT-HALO-VW303 is compatible with your original Volkswagen / Seat / Skoda hands-free microphone. This makes the installation faster and cleaner, since no additional microphone has to be installed.

Compatible with Many Alpine Head Units

The KIT-HALO-VW303 is compatible with all Alpine Halo Head Units (iLX-F115D, iLX-F905D) and Halo navigation systems (INE-F904D, INE-F904DC), as well as 2DIN Head Units such as the iLX-705D, INE-W720D or INE-W720DC that are “Vehicle Data-Bus Interface Ready”.

Pre-Flight Check
