4K 2160P Ultra High Definition Recording

MiVue™ 886 provides extreme clarity through the 4K resolution, which is a four times higher resolution than Full HD. With the 4K recording, every detail could be enlarged and still visible, protecting your driving safety in an ultimate way.

1/1.8" Large sensor

MiVue™ 886 produces a stunning video image quality with 1/1.8" large sensor, which is 1.7 times larger than normal sensor. In comparison with smaller image sensors, 1/1.8" large sensor provides outstanding picture clarity and extremely vivid colors, whilst recording brighter video in lowlight conditions.

2K 1440P/30fps HDR

By adopting the HDR function, MiVue™ 886 automatically captures multiple frames with different exposure values, then combine these frames to create a single image which is optimized to a brighter and sharper one with less noise.

MiVue™ 886 shows the distance and time (seconds) to terminal speedcam, and also provides the speed limit and average speed of the interval.

3 in 1 Parking Mode

When the engine is turned off, MiVue™ 886 automatically switches to Smart Parking Mode (motion and impact detection) or Passive Powered Parking Mode (impact detection only). Time lapse function is available when choosing Smart Parking Mode, taking a sequence of frames per second to record changes that take place slowly over time.

* Requires Smartbox III, available separately.
* When using Parking Mode, the resolution will be automatically adjusted to 1080P/30fps to maximize the memory card usage.
* Time lapse condenses 10 minutes length of footage into 20 seconds short clip (20MB per clip).

Integrated high speed Wi-Fi 5

Real-time smartphone backup and OTA update
The integrated high-speed Wi-Fi 5 (802.11 b/g/n/ac) enables higher-speed transmission and less noise interference. The firmware and safety camera data are easily updated via OTA (Over-the-air), ensuring your device is always up-to-date.

Save your file every second

The driving footage of MiVue™ 886 is saved per second in the micro SD card, which provides more thorough protection comparing with saving in every minute. If an accident occurs, files will be automatically fixed when the dash cam is booting up. The MP4(H.264) video format allows higher compatibility including Windows, iOS, and Android systems.

When an incident happens, the dash cam will automatically save the file to the event folder and send footage to the MiVue™ Pro app via WIFI in real-time (WIFI video backup function won’t consume your 3G/4G data, it uses point-to-point transmission technology).

Live View and video organizer
Click “Live View” to adjust horizontal level of the camera before installation. Videos will be categorized by date and type (Normal, Event or Parking mode folders). The front and rear footage will be backed up to the MiVue™ Pro app synchronously if a dual cam is installed.
* The "Live View" function may vary depending on different dash cam models.

Allow incoming calls during the video backup
If the backup is interrupted by incoming calls, simply open the app again. It will resume the transfer from where it stopped.

Set up your dash cam through the MiVue™ Pro app
Change the settings and format the memory card of the dash cam directly through your smartphone.

WIFI OTA (Over-the-Air) update
Use your smartphone to download and update the firmware, speed camera data and voice versions without having to withdraw the memory card. (Downloading data will consume your 3G/4G data, the update settings may vary depending on the different dash cam models).
