"description": "This adapter allows an aftermarket head unit to be installed, whilst bypassing the factory fitted amplified system. This adapter is designed to match the correct impedance of the vehicles speaker system.\nWhen connected your new stereo may not power up, and this is no fault of the wiring harness purchased.\nAudi / VW / Skoda / Fiat and other vehicles tend not to have an ignition switched live feed.\nIn these cases it is necessary to manually connect a spurred live feed from fuse box for example to feed switched power so the new stereo turns on and off with the key.\nThe wire in particular on the new wiring harness will be the red wire.\nCar Audio Fitting Accessories are sold with limited instructions. Some knowledge of car audio installation is helpful, as in some rare case \"modification\" is necessary.\nPlease make sure that is the correct Adaptor for your vehicle by firstly checking to see if your vehicle make, model and year is listed in the description. Secondly by checking to see if the Shape in the picture listed is the same as you have in your vehicle. If in doubt please email us with your vehicle details and we will confirm what you require.",
