"description": "This adaptor is required to replace factory fitted radio with an aftermarket headunit (Alpine, Pioneer, Kenwood, Sony, JVC etc.). It will convert the car original power and speakers wiring connector to a standard ISO connector.\nThere is an Aerial Adaptor also included with the Wiring Adaptor.\nPlease Note\nThis Item is For Vechiles Fitted with one of the Following Stereos - RCD 200 / RCD 300 / RCD 500 / VW DELTA 6 / RCD 310 / RCD 510\nPlease Note\nRed wire has to be connected to a separate ignition feed in the vehicle to make aftermarket head unit to power up\nOrange cable requires connection to illumination wire but only if the radio requires this for dimming purposes at night.\nBlue wire needs to be connected to the Remote Antenna or ignition supply wire (if rem ant wire not available) on back of car stereo.\nPlease Note\nWhen connected your new stereo may not power up, and this is no fault of the wiring harness purchased.\nAudi / VW / Skoda / Fiat and other vehicles tend not to have an ignition switched live feed.\nIn these cases it is necessary to manually connect a spurred live feed from fuse box for example to feed switched power so the new stereo turns on and off with the key.\nThe wire in particular on the new wiring harness will be the red wire.\nTECHNICAL NOTE\nCAR AUDIO FITTING ACCESSORIES ARE SOLD WITH LIMITED INSTRUCTIONS.\nSOME KNOWLEDGE OF CAR AUDIO INSTALLATION IS HELPUL IN CASE A MODIFICATION IN SOME RARE CASES MAY BE NECESSARY OR NEEDED.\nIf in doubt please email us with your vehicle details and we will confirm what you require.\nPlease make sure that is the correct Wiring Harness for your car by firstly checking to see if your make, model and year of car is listed in the description. Secondly by checking to see if the Shape in the picture listed is the same as you have in your vehicle. We try to provide upto date information as possible. If you are unsure please contact our Customer Service and we will be happy to help you.",
