"description": "This Mitsubishi ASX Double DIN stereo fitting kit is designed for selected 2019-2023 models with factory fitted 8 inch display systems, including ASX Dynamic models with an 8 inch SDA radio and Exceed variants with an 8 inch factory TomTom navigation display. It allows the original radio to be upgraded to a compatible aftermarket Double DIN stereo while helping retain steering wheel audio controls, the factory reverse view camera and the factory DAB aerial connection.\nThe kit includes a Double DIN fascia adapter for a clean dashboard finish, a Mitsubishi steering wheel control interface with universal patch lead, an 8-pin Mitsubishi camera retention harness and a Fakra DAB to SMB antenna adapter. This makes it a practical solution for Mitsubishi ASX stereo upgrades where a neat installation and factory feature retention are required.\nPackage Includes\nDouble Din Fascia Adaptor (Black)\nSteering wheel audio control interface and ISO cable\n8-pin camera retention harness adapter\nFakra DAB male to DAB SMB female antenna adapter cable, 50cm\nUniversal patch lead (Included)\n{ vehicle_compatibility }\nFeatures and Benefits\nComplete Double DIN stereo fitting kit\nDesigned for selected Mitsubishi ASX 2019-2023 models\nSuitable for vehicles with factory fitted 8 inch displays\nDesigned for ASX Dynamic models with factory 8 inch SDA radio\nDesigned for ASX Exceed models with 8 inch factory TomTom navigation display\nAllows replacement of the original factory radio\nRetains factory steering wheel audio controls\nRetains factory reverse view camera\nRetains factory DAB aerial connection\nIncludes Double DIN fascia adapter\nIncludes Mitsubishi steering wheel control interface\nIncludes universal patch lead\nIncludes Mitsubishi 8-pin camera retention harness\nIncludes Fakra DAB to SMB antenna adapter\nHelps provide a clean OEM-style dashboard finish\nDesigned for compatible aftermarket Double DIN stereos\nIdeal for Mitsubishi ASX aftermarket stereo upgrades\nRetained Functions\nDepending on vehicle equipment and aftermarket stereo compatibility, this kit can help retain:\nSteering wheel audio controls\nFactory reverse view camera\nFactory DAB aerial connection\nSupported phone button functions where compatible\nReverse camera trigger where compatible\nRetained functions may vary depending on the exact vehicle specification and aftermarket stereo being fitted.\nFascia Adaptor\nThe included fascia adapter allows a compatible Double DIN aftermarket stereo to be fitted neatly into the Mitsubishi ASX dashboard.\nIt is designed to suit selected Mitsubishi ASX dashboard applications and helps provide a clean, factory-style finish around the new stereo.\nSteering Wheel Control Retention\nThe included steering wheel control interface allows the original steering wheel audio buttons to be retained when fitting a compatible aftermarket stereo.\nThe supplied universal patch lead connects the steering control interface to a wide range of compatible aftermarket head unit brands. Some stereo brands may require setup or configuration to enable steering wheel control operation.\nReverse Camera Retention\nThe included Mitsubishi 8-pin camera retention harness is designed to retain the original OEM reverse camera on compatible Mitsubishi vehicles with the 8-pin grey camera connector.\nIt includes camera retention wiring with reverse trigger and 12V-to-6V camera power conversion, allowing the factory reverse camera to be used with a compatible aftermarket stereo camera input.\nDAB Aerial Retention\nThe included Fakra DAB to SMB antenna adapter allows the original factory DAB aerial connection to be adapted for use with many aftermarket DAB stereos.\nThis helps retain the vehicle’s original DAB aerial rather than requiring a separate universal windscreen DAB antenna.\nInstallation Notes\nBefore installation, compare the vehicle’s original radio connectors with the supplied interface, camera harness, fascia adapter and DAB aerial adapter to ensure they match visually and technically.\nAfter fitting the aftermarket stereo, test the steering wheel audio controls, factory reverse camera image, DAB reception and any required stereo settings before fully reassembling the dashboard.\n{ note_fittingkit_fascia_with_cage }\n{ note_fittingkit_footer }",
