In a single housing it combines an inverter, AC charger, charge controller and DC-DC charger. Together with a 48 V battery such as the BLUETTI B4810, it becomes a single central unit from which you control the entire electrical installation in a motorhome, expedition vehicle, boat or small off-grid system.\nWhat does the RV5 do?\nThe RV5 converts 48 V from the battery into 230 V for your wall sockets and into 12 or 24 V for the DC onboard system. At the same time, it brings together all charging sources. Shore power or a generator, solar panels on the roof and the vehicle’s alternator all feed into the RV5 first and are then used to charge the battery. Instead of working with separate chargers, inverters and relays, you use one central unit that handles the entire energy management.\nThe video is for reference only and not all the items are included. Please check listing for whats included.\nAC Output\nOn the 230 V side, the RV5 delivers up to 5,000 W of continuous output power, enough for typical loads in a modern motorhome or off-grid installation. Think of air conditioning, fridge, boiler, cooktop or power tools, as long as the total load stays within the specifications. Via the AC input you can draw up to 5,000 W from a campsite hook-up, household socket, generator or suitable charging station. The RV5 then charges the battery and can supply your AC loads at the same time. If the mains fails, it switches over to battery operation within milliseconds, so connected equipment will usually hardly notice the transition.\nCharging From Solar and Alternator\nFor solar energy, the RV5 has two MPPT inputs with a built-in charge controller. You connect your solar panels directly here. Together, the inputs support up to around 3,600 W of solar (2 × 1,800 W within 12–50 V per input), suitable for flexible panels on the roof of a motorhome or boat as well as fixed panels in an off-grid setup. In addition, the RV5 can draw energy from the vehicle’s alternator via a DC input. While driving it then acts as a DC-DC charger to the 48 V system, taking the starter battery and alternator load into account.\n12/24 V onboard system\nOn the DC side, the RV5 provides a stabilised 12 or 24 V output for the onboard system, for example for lighting, water pump, fridge, ventilation and USB outlets. The output is designed for high currents, so multiple consumers can be supplied at the same time. In combination with a distribution panel with fuses and switches, you can build a neat, clearly laid-out DC installation powered from a single central 48 V battery, for example with one or more B4810 batteries.\nInstallation\nThe RV5 is designed to make installation as straightforward as possible. The main connections are grouped together: battery, AC input, AC output, PV inputs and DC output. During initial commissioning you set a few key values, such as the desired DC output voltage (12 or 24 V) and the maximum current you want to draw from the AC input. After that, the electronics in the RV5 monitor voltages and currents and keep the battery within safe limits.\nWorking together with the B4810\nIn an RVSolar 48 V Power System, the RV5 works closely together with the B4810. Via a CAN connection, the power hub and the battery’s Battery Management System continuously exchange information about state of charge, currents and limits. Based on this, the RV5 determines how fast to charge or discharge and which source makes most sense at that moment: grid, solar, alternator or generator. Via Bluetooth and the app you can see at a glance how much power is coming in, what you are using and how full the battery is. This makes the RV5 the central power hub of the system, with the B4810 as the central battery behind it.\nAll the Power, Half the Hassle\nStop Rationing Power. Goodbye Power Anxiety.\nWith 5,000 W of continuous power, the RV5 lets you run your A/C, microwave, coffee maker, and more all at once, just like at home. Powered by B4810 LiFePO₄ batteries, it gives you over 6,000 charge cycles for years of reliable energy. Even in the cold, the self-heating feature keeps things running smoothly. At only 7 W of standby power, each charge goes further. The RV5 lets you live fully, with peace of mind, and enjoy every moment of your journey without worrying about power.\nFast, Flexible Charging for Non-Stop Adventure.\nAdventure doesn't stop for charging, and now you don't have to either. The RV5 keeps you powered with fast, versatile charging options. It is intended for installations where a standard 12 V house battery is no longer sufficient: motorhomes and camper vans with air conditioning or induction cooking, expedition vehicles, boats, off-grid systems or a compact home setup. In all these situations, the B4810 serves as the central battery, often in combination with a power hub such as the BLUETTI RV5.\nWhen Should You Choose a B4810?\nThe B4810 is interesting if you want to power more than just 12 V lighting and a fridge. A single battery offers 5.12 kWh of storage and around 5 kW of continuous power, bringing heavier loads such as air conditioning, a boiler, cooktop or power tools within reach, as long as you stay within the specifications. Because you are running at 48 V, currents remain lower than in a comparable 12 V system, cabling stays more manageable and losses are reduced. On top of that, you can build the battery bank in a modular way: you start with one B4810 and later expand with extra modules to reach a total storage capacity of more than 120 kWh.\nPower and Service Life\nInside, the B4810 uses long-life LiFePO₄ cells. The battery is designed for thousands of charge cycles while retaining a large proportion of its original capacity. The recommended charge current is around 50 A, with headroom up to 100 A if the installation is designed for it, so the battery stays within safe limits even at higher charging powers.\nEnclosure and Use\nThe enclosure is designed for use in vehicles and technical spaces. The B4810 is dust- and water-resistant to IP65 and features a flame-retardant housing (UL5VA), so it is well protected in a garage, service compartment or motorhome installation. Thanks to the built-in self-heating function, charging remains possible even at lower temperatures: if the battery is too cold and charge current becomes available, it first warms itself up before the actual charging process starts. Discharging is possible over a wider temperature range, so the system remains practical to use in spring and autumn or in colder regions.\nConnection with RV5\nThe B4810 shows its full potential as the heart of a complete 48 V energy system. In the BLUETTI RVSolar 48V Power System, the RV5 Power Hub takes on that role. The B4810 stores all energy as 48 V DC; the RV5 decides what happens with it. Shore power or a generator, solar panels on the roof and the vehicle’s alternator are all used via the RV5 to charge the battery. From the same battery, the RV5 then converts 48 V back to 230 V for wall sockets and to 12 or 24 V for the DC on-board system, so you can run air conditioning, cooktop, fridge, lighting and pumps from one central setup instead of a collection of separate chargers and inverters.\nMonitoring and Integration\nIn addition to the 48 V DC cabling, there is also a CAN data connection between the B4810 and the RV5. The BMS in the B4810 continuously reports how much energy is available, what currents are flowing and where the limits are; the RV5 adjusts its charge and discharge strategy accordingly. Via Bluetooth and the app you can keep an eye on voltage, state of charge and temperature yourself, without having to access the battery directly. This way, the B4810 becomes not just a large energy reserve, but the 48 V foundation of a system you can design, expand and control yourself in a clear and structured way.\nVersatile Power for Any Scenario\nOff-grid living, RV journeys, home backup, or life on the water, BLUETTI batteries provide reliable power to keep you connected, your devices charged, and everything running smoothly.\nMonitor Your Power With Ease\nWith the BLUETTI app, check your battery's State of Charge (SoC), voltage, temperature, and remaining charge or discharge time — all with just a glance. Everything you need to stay informed, right at your fingertips.\nQuick Recharge, Flexible Charging\nPower up your BLUETTI LiFePO₄ batteries effortlessly through a wall outlet, solar panels, or a generator. No matter your setup, get back to full power faster and more conveniently than with traditional batteries.\nSpecifications\nBattery Info\nBattery Capacity 5,120Wh (51.2V, 100Ah)\nBattery Type LiFePO₄ (Lithium Iron Phosphate)\nCycle Life 6,000 cycles @ 70% capacity\nCharging & Discharging\nCharge Current 50A (Recommended) 100 A Max.\nDischarge Current 100A Max.\nPeak Discharge Current 200A @ 30 s\nCell Temperature Protection\nCharging: <-1°C or >61°C (<30°F or >142°F),\nDischarging: <-21°C or >61°C (<-5.8°F or >142°F),\nGeneral\nWeight Approx. 101.4lbs (46kg)\nIP Rating IP65\nOperating Temperature\nCharging: -20°C to 55°C (-4°F to 131°F)\nDischarging: -20°C to 55°C (-4°F to 131°F)\nStorage Temperature\nUp to 1 month: -20°C to 40°C (-4°F to 104°F)\nUp to 6 months: -20°C to 25°C (-4°F to 77°F)\nDimensions (L × W × H) 23.94 × 14.96 × 5.71in (608 × 380 × 145mm)\nMax.
