"description": "Volkswagen Stereo Replacement Kit, allows the fitment of a Double DIN aftermarket headunit to the selected vehicle. This kit includes Fascia Adaptor, Wiring Harness, Aerial Adaptor and Stereo removal keys.\nPackage Includes\nDouble Din Fascia Adaptor (Black)\nWiring Harness Adaptor (non-amplified systems only)\n2 x Stereo Removal Keys\n{ vehicle_compatibility }\nThere is an Aerial Adaptor also included with the Wiring Adaptor.\nFascia Adaptor\nThis adaptor will convert the non din-sized aperture left after removing the factory stereo to a din size ready for head unit installation. The high quality finish, colour and texture are designed specifically to maintain the original look of your vehicles interior.\nWiring Harness\nThe wiring harness will allow to install the stereo.\nNote: You will need to connect the red wire to the ignition supply in the fuse box.\nStereo Removal Keys\nStereo Removal Keys to remove headunit from the fascia cage. Many OEM manufacturers are incorporating special locking mechanisms into their head units in an attempt to prevent stereo theft. This means that to remove one of these units you will require a manufacturer specific stereo removal key to prevent damage to the head unit or the surrounding fascia and cage.\nPlease Note\nRed wire has to be connected to a separate ignition feed in the vehicle to make aftermarket head unit to power up\nOrange cable requires connection to illumination wire but only if the radio requires this for dimming purposes at night.\nBlue wire needs to be connected to the Remote Antenna or ignition supply wire (if rem ant wire not available) on back of car stereo.\nPlease Note\nWhen connected your new stereo may not power up, and this is no fault of the wiring harness purchased.\nAudi / VW / Skoda / Fiat and other vehicles tend not to have an ignition switched live feed.\nIn these cases it is necessary to manually connect a spurred live feed from fuse box for example to feed switched power so the new stereo turns on and off with the key.\nThe wire in particular on the new wiring harness will be the red wire.\n{ note_fittingkit_fascia_with_cage }\n{ note_fittingkit_footer }",
