"description": "Package Inlcudes\nFocal ES165K2E 6.5” (16.5cm) 2-Way Component Car Speaker Kit\nStinger RKXSK Expert Sound Proofing Deadening Material 2 Sheet Speaker Kit\nUnbelievable Dynamics\n6 1/2\" (165 Mm) 2-Way Component Kit\nThe ES 165 K2E system consists of two 6 1/2” (165mm) woofers with a K2 sandwich cone made of aramid fibre, a Focal innovation of renowned performance. Their high sensitivity allows them to produce an enveloping, powerful and dynamic sound. The central ogive ensures better sound dispersion within the vehicle, to significantly enhance the in-car listening experience.\nThe fourth generation of K2 Power kits, with their emblematic aramid fibre cone, remain true to the precious and distinctive K2 DNA. The speaker drivers combine performance, power and style, whilst including patented innovations to deliver the very best. Designed, developed and manufactured in our workshops in France, the 2-way component kit ES 165 K2E takes in-car listening to another level.\nThe two TKME tweeters with the ‘M’-shaped inverted dome, also made of aramid fibre, are linked with bi-amplifiable audiophile crossovers. They ensure optimal control of the high frequencies, producing a smooth and perfectly defined treble. Hi-fi sound has arrived on board.\nFor optimal, flexible installation options, the tweeters can be mounted in one of three ways: in the factory location, flush-fitted or on angled brackets.\nThe kit also includes aluminium grilles.\nPerformance K2 Excellence\nK2 Sandwich Cone\nThe aramid fibre cone inherits all of Focal’s unique know-how. Composed of an ultralight foam core, sandwiched between a thin layer of aramid fibre and a layer of fibreglass, it combines 3 key factors when it comes to acoustics: rigidity, lightness and damping, for sound that is as precise and dynamic as it can get.\nTMD Surround\nThe speaker drivers benefit from TMD (Tuned Mass Damper) technology, a patented innovation. This surround has a special profile, designed to better control the effect of resonance and reduce the distortion associated with deformations of the cone. The midranges are perfectly defined and very realistic.\nTKME Tweeter\nThe ‘M’-profile TKME tweeter extends the frequency response to 22 kHz with an even greater reduction of distortion, for smooth and precise diffusion in the high treble. Coupled with a ‘push-pull’ motor, based on IAL2 technology, it achieves very low resonance frequencies for perfect harmonic balance.\nFRAK Tweeter\nThe ES 165 KX2E and ES 165 KX3E kits are equipped with Focal's ‘M’-shaped FRAK tweeter. A revolution in Car Audio, it combines aluminium and magnesium for good frequency lowering and superb damping. Its lightness helps it shine in the high treble\nPower And Reliability Pushing The Boundaries\nMore Linearity And Precision\nThe progressive spider on the K2 Power speaker drivers is built around a progressive section to reproduce all the impact of the bass and increase the linearity, precision and dynamics of the sound.\nIncreased SPL\nThe Radial VC cooling system for the speaker driver coil expels hot air from the coil towards the bottom of the motor through 6 holes. This improves control over the coil temperature, limiting the effects of heat compression and improving reliability. This improves the dynamics of the speaker driver and generates a powerful sound.\nOptimised Crossovers\nAll the components used for the K2 Power crossovers have been specially selected and optimised to better control the effects of heat dissipation. These components are essential for managing the various channels and the soundstage reliably and efficiently.\nSlim Profile\nThe ES 165 K2S and SUB 25 KXS kits have a shallow depth. This slim profile takes up minimal space whilst maintaining exceptional power handling.\nKey points\nMade in France in the Focal workshops\nK2 Cone\nRobust design and high quality materials\nExceptional power handling\nAluminium grilles included\nSpecifications\nType 2-way component kit\nMaximum power 200W\nNominal power 100W RMS\nSensitivity (2.83V/1m) 93dB\nFrequency response 60Hz – 22kHz\nImpedance 2Ω\nCone K2 Sandwich\nWoofer 61/2\" (165mm)\nVoice coil diameter 11/4\" (32mm)\nDepth 27/8\" (74mm)\nMagnet Ferrite\nSurround TMD®\nTweeter 'M'-profile\nCrossover 6-12/12dB (3.5kHz)\nWoofer Specifications\nNominal power 100W\nMaximum power 200W\nSensitivity\n(2.83V/1m) 92.8dB\nCone K2 Sandwich\nNom. impedance 2Ω\nSurround Butyl\nDC resistance 1.8Ω\nVC diameter 32mm 11/4\"\nFormer Kapton\nLayers 2\nWire CCAW\nMagnet (dxh) 95x20mm 33/4 x3/4\"\nNet weight 1450g 3.20lbs\nTweeter Specifications\nNominal power 15W\nMaximum power 100W\nSensitivity\n(2.83V/1m) 92dB\nCone K2 Sandwich\nNom. impedance 4Ω\nSurround Butyl\nDC resistance 3.5Ω\nVC diameter 20mm 3/4\"\nFormer Kapton\nLayers 2\nWire Alu\nNet weight 60g 0.13lbs\n{ note_speakers }\nStinger RKXSK Expert Sound Proofing Deadening Material 2 Sheet Speaker Kit\nExpert level sound dampening\nAluminum outer layer\nSelf adhesive\nEasy installation\nUse on all metal panels, doors, roof, floor, firewall & trunk\nKills panel resonance, squeaks and rattles\nHighest damping vs. weight ratio of any material available\nImproves overall audio frequency response and bass output\nSpeaker kit\nExpert RoadKill Published Specifications\nMinimum Thickness 0.080in\nMinimum Weight 0.65bs/ft2\nAluminum Layer- 6 mils",
