"description": "Complete stereo upgrade fitting kit to install a Double DIN aftermarket radio and retain the use of the steering wheel audio controls in Nissan Elgrand E51 vehicles (WITH CARWINGS)\nThis fitting kit is suitable for Nissan Elgrand E51 (Series 3) models with CARWINGS. Models with CARWINGS have a control panel with directional buttons above the CD slot on the radio panel.\nPackage Includes\nDouble DIN Fascia adapter (Matt Black)\nSteering Control Interface With Screen Retention\nSide Cameras Momentary Switch\nAntenna Adaptor\nUniversal patch lead (Included)\nWE RECOMMEND PROFESSIONAL INSTALLATION. The kit requires a blanking plate to be made for the climate control cut outs in the fascia panel, the original head unit needs to be taken apart and hidden in the dashboard and a switch for the cameras will need to be hardwired. This is not recommended for DIY\nFascia Adaptor\nThis adaptor will convert the non din-sized aperture left after removing the factory stereo to a din size ready for head unit installation. The high quality finish, colour and texture are designed specifically to maintain the original look of your vehicles interior.\nPLEASE NOTE\nUse the metal brackets from the original radio and fit to the new aftermarket radio\nThe 50-669 fascia panel includes apertures for the climate controls that are not needed on cars with CARWINGS. On these cars, a blanking plate should be fabricated and attached to the fascia panel. This is not supplied, but we do offer 50-060 ABS plastic sheet which can be used to make a blanking panel.\nSteering Control Adaptor\nA stalk/steering wheel control adaptor enables you to utilise the original factory remote audio (whether built onto steering wheel or fitted on a stalk next to the steering wheel) with an aftermarket unit.\nSteering wheel control interface and adapter cable for Nissan Elgrand cars with CARWINGS and a 20 pin connector at the back of the radio.\nThe interface allows includes power and speaker connections for the new radio and a breakout cable to retain the original head unit (hidden within the dashboard) to retain use of the top screen.\nThe interface and radio adapter cable is used to connect an aftermarket stereo upgrade and retain the use of the volume, track skip, source and phone buttons from the steering wheel with the new radio.\nAerial Adaptor\nAn Aerial Adaptor is needed when replacing the original factory fitted head unit with an aftermarket head unit.\nCARWINGS Side Camera Switch\nConnects to the wiring for the original Carwings wiring and allows the user to swap between the original reverse and side cameras on the top screen.\nRequires hardwiring and a 97mm diameter mounting hole in a suitable place.\nUniversal Patch Lead\nUniversal patch lead to be used with In Car Tec 29- series steering wheel control interfaces. This cable plugs into the ICT control box and connects to the 3.5mm socket or single wire on the back of the new head-unit.\nThis item has loose wires and leads so it can be configured to suit the brand of radio being fitted.\nThis fitting kit is suitable for Nissan Elgrand models with CARWINGS.\nThese have a CARWINGS control panel above the CD slot on the radio panel (See below)\nInstructions for this product can be found here\nImportant Fascia Notes\nThe fascias are made to suit industry standard sized stereos such as Pioneer, Kenwood, Sony, Alpine, JVC etc, NOT INCLUDING China units or unbranded units.\nChina units have a reputation to be over sized and may require modification to the fascia to allow it to fit.\nWe do not take any responsibility for China units not fitting as they are not industry standard size.\nCar Audio Fitting Accessories are sold with limited instructions. Some knowledge of car audio installation is helpful, as in some rare case \"modification\" is necessary.\nPlease make sure that is the correct Fitting Kit for your vehicle by firstly checking to see if your vehicle make, model and year is listed in the description. Secondly by checking to see if the connection & Shape in the picture listed is the same as you have in your vehicle. If in doubt please email us with your vehicle details and we will confirm what you require.",
