"description": "Complete stereo upgrade fitting kit to install a Single / Double DIN aftermarket radio in various Volkswagen cars\nFits cars with original RCD300, RCD500 or RNS MFD-2 radios\nPackage Includes\nSingle DIN Fascia Adaptor With Removable Pocket\nQuadlock to ISO Radio Adaptor Harness, With CANBus Ignition\nTwin Fakra Antenna Adaptor (12v Phantom power) With Bullet Connection\nFascia Adaptor\nThis adaptor will convert the non din-sized aperture left after removing the factory stereo to a din size ready for head unit installation. The high quality finish, colour and texture are designed specifically to maintain the original look of your vehicles interior.\nCar radio fascia adaptor panel to allow the fitting of an aftermarket Single DIN car radio upgrade.\nThe fascia adaptor allows the fitting of an aftermarket radio into the dashboard by matching the shape, style and colour of the original radio.\nThis fascia kit comes with a removable pocket. For double DIN installations the central bar has to be cut out and a radio cage used.\nQuadlock to ISO Radio Adaptor Harness with CANBus Ignition\nThe interface generates a key present ignition supply so no extra ignition feed needs to be provided. The key present ignition feature will continue to give an ignition supply until the key is removed from the ignition barrel.\nTwin Fakra Antenna Adaptor (12v Phantom Power) With Bullet Connection\nTwin fakra to DIN antenna adapter cable with 12v phantom power from a male bullet connection. This antenna adapter cable adapts from the original twin fakra connectors in the vehicle to a standard aftermarket radio DIN antenna connection for the fitting of a stereo upgrade.\nThis fitting kit is compatible with Volkswagen cars fitted with original RCD300 and RCD500 head units that have a twin Fakra antenna connection, Please see pictures below.\nThis kit does not provide any interface for the steering wheel controls, if you wish to retain original steering wheel controls and have an original RCD300, RCD500 or RNS MFD-2 Radio then please use FK-172-SWC1-T\nImportant Fascia Notes\nChina units have a reputation to be over sized and may require modification to the fascia to allow it to fit.\nWe do not take any responsibility for China units not fitting as they are not industry standard size.\nIf the cage supplied with the stereo does not fit the fascia then you must purchase a universal cage which is slightly smaller.\nClick here for CT23UN01 UNIVERSAL Mounting Cage\nCar Audio Fitting Accessories are sold with limited instructions. Some knowledge of car audio installation is helpful, as in some rare case \"modification\" is necessary.\nPlease make sure that is the correct Fitting Kit for your vehicle by firstly checking to see if your vehicle make, model and year is listed in the description. Secondly by checking to see if the connection & Shape in the picture listed is the same as you have in your vehicle. If in doubt please email us with your vehicle details and we will confirm what you require.",
