"description": "Complete stereo upgrade fitting kit to install a Double DIN aftermarket radio and generate a key present ignition supply in Volkswagen Touareg I (2003-2009) vehicles.\nPackage Includes:\nDouble Din Fascia\n103MM Double Din Fitting Cage\nISO Harness With CAN Ignition Interface\nFakra to DIN Antenna Adaptor\nFor vehicles with steering wheel controls, please use fitting kit FK-716-SWC\nFascia Adaptor:\nThis adaptor will convert the non din-sized aperture left after removing the factory stereo to a din size ready for head unit installation. The high quality finish, colour and texture are designed specifically to maintain the original look of your vehicles interior.\nThis fascia is designed to replace the wider rectangular OEM radios.\nWiring Harness\nThe wiring harness will allow to install the stereo.\nISO adapter harness for Volkswagen group vehicles with quadlock connectors at the back of the radio.\nThis adapter harness is designed to adapt from the original quadlock style connector in the dashboard to a standard aftermarket ISO connector to allow the fitting of a new radio.\nThis lead has a built in CANbus interface which provides a key present ignition power supply. A key present ignition supply will generate an ignition feed to turn the head unit on with the first position of the key, the interface will continue to give an ignition feed to the radio when the key is turned back to the off position, the ignition feed stops only when the key is then removed from the ignition barrel.\nAerial Adaptor\nAn Aerial Adaptor is needed when replacing the original factory fitted head unit with an aftermarket head unit.\nThis cable converts the original antenna connector in the car, known as a Fakra connector, to a standard aftermarket antenna connector, known as a DIN connector. The adapter cable has a built in module which provides a phantom power feed to the original antenna in the car. A phantom power feed is a 12v power supply that is sent up the centre wire of the antenna cable, this powers the amplifier built into the original antenna. The antenna adapter cable has a loose wire which needs to be connected to the 12v antenna power output of the new aftermarket stereo.\nDouble Din Metal Cage Kit\nThis kit is designed to replace the metal cage kit that is usually supplied with your new aftermarket double din head-unit or navigation system. It is used along with fascia's that have 103mm high hole sizes. This cage kit comes complete with fixings to attach to the new car radio body.\nThis fitting kit will only provide a CANbus ignition supply, for vehicles with steering wheel controls, please use fitting kit FK-716-SWC\nImportant Fascia Notes\nThe fascias are made to suit industry standard sized stereos such as Pioneer, Kenwood, Sony, Alpine, JVC etc, NOT INCLUDING China units or unbranded units.\nChina units have a reputation to be over sized and may require modification to the fascia to allow it to fit.\nWe do not take any responsibility for China units not fitting as they are not industry standard size.\nCar Audio Fitting Accessories are sold with limited instructions. Some knowledge of car audio installation is helpful, as in some rare case \"modification\" is necessary.\nPlease make sure that is the correct Fitting Kit for your vehicle by firstly checking to see if your vehicle make, model and year is listed in the description. Secondly by checking to see if the connection & Shape in the picture listed is the same as you have in your vehicle. If in doubt please email us with your vehicle details and we will confirm what you require.",
