"description": "Complete stereo upgrade fitting kit to install a Double DIN aftermarket car stereo head unit and retain the use of the steering wheel controls in select Mercedes vehicles with factory fitted NTG1 systems and Quadlock Connection.\nPackage Includes\nDouble Din Fascia (MATT BLACK)\nSteering Control Interface\nFakra to Din Antenna Adaptor\nUniversal patch lead (Included)\n{ vehicle_compatibility }\nSuitable for models with standard NTG1 original radios and non amplified audio systems\nThis fitting kit is not suitable for Cars with original Harman/Kardon amplified audio systems. These will require an additional interface to retain the audio with the original amplifier.\nFascia Adaptor\nReplacement car audio fascia to enable you to change the original radio in the car to a Double DIN aftermarket version\nFits Mercedes Benz E-Class (W211) (2002-2008) car models.\nThis kit uses the 113mm high cage supplied with after market double DIN radios to fit , if this is missing then our cage with part number 51-013 is suitable.\nCOLOUR: MATT BLACK\nSteering Control Adaptor\nCANbus steering wheel control interface for Mercedes E-Class cars with original Mercedes NTG1 head units.\nThis interface uses quadlock connections behind the original radio to allow the use of the original steering wheel control buttons with a new aftermarket head-unit. It also provides CANbus outputs as well as Ignition, speed pulse, reverse gear, handbrake and illumination signals to the new stereo.\nAerial Adaptor\nMale Fakra to Male DIN antenna adapter cable. This cable adapts from a Farka antenna connection at the back of the cars original radio to a standard aftermarket DIN antenna connection to allow the fitting of an aftermarket radio upgrade. This is a passive adapter cable, not suitable for cars that need a phantom power supply to turn on the antenna amplifier,\nUniversal Patch Lead\nThe interface is supplied with a universal patch lead. This links the steering control interface to the steering wheel control input on the back of the new stereo. This can be used with Alpine, Blaupunkt, Clarion, Pioneer, JVC, Kenwood, Sony or Zenec Head-units.\n{ note_fittingkit_fascia_with_cage }\n{ note_fittingkit_footer }",
