"description": "Ford Double Din Stereo Replacement Kit allows fitment of a Double DIN aftermarket headunit to the selected vehicle. The kit includes fascia, steering control adaptor & aerial adaptor.\nDouble Din Fitting Includes\nDouble Din Fascia Adaptor (Black)\nSteering Wheel Interface Adaptor\nAerial Adaptor\nStereo Patch Lead (Free CTMULTILEAD.2 Included)\nFascia Adaptor\nThis adaptor will convert the non din-sized aperture left after removing the factory stereo to a double din size ready for head unit installation. The high quality finish, colour and texture are designed specifically to maintain the original look of your vehicles interior.\nAerial Adaptor\nAn Aerial Adaptor is needed when replacing the original factory fitted head unit with an aftermarket head unit.\nSteering Wheel Interface\nA stalk/steering wheel control adaptor allows you to upgrade to an aftermarket head unit whilst maintaining use of your factory steering wheel controls or fitted on a stalk next to the steering wheel.\nFITTING GUIDE\nSETTING THE TIME/DATE\n1. Press Speech to turn on the vehicle display\n2. Press and hold Speech for two seconds to enable menu mode\n3. Press Volume +/- to navigate to the clock setting menu option and press Speech to\nconfirm selection\n4. Adust the time using Volume +/- and press Speech to confirm\n5. Follow the same process to adjust the date\n6. Once time and date have been set, press Speech to confirm\nNB: The menu option will time out after 15-20 seconds of inactivity\n6. Connect the female vehicle specific connectors on the harness to the male vehicle\nconnector from the vehicle.\n8. Remove the car display connector from the vehicle and plug into the interface\n(please remove the dust cover from the interface before making the connection).\n9. Connect the display connector from the loom to the vehicle (the port previously\noccupied by the car display connector, removed in Step 8.)\nTest head unit for correct operation.\n7. Connect the chime speaker box to the loom via the 4 pin connector and the red/\nwhite RCA connectors to the stereo Aux Input.\nCTMULTILEAD.2 Universal Patch Lead\nPatch Lead connects a compatible car stereo with a joystick input (blue line-in mini-jack) or wire input on the back of the unit to the existing stalk/steering wheel controls of the vehicle.\nCompatible Aftermarket Headunits\nAlpine (3.5mm jack)\nBeat (single wire connection)\nChinese / Xtrons / 3 wire unbranded units (3 wire connection)\nClarion (3.5mm jack)\nJVC (3.5mm or single wire)\nKenwood (single wire)\nLG (3.5mm jack)\nNakamichi (single wire connection)\nPanasonic (single wire but NOT AV units)\nPhilips (single wire connection)\nPioneer (3.5mm jack)\nSony (3.5mm jack)\nZenec (single wire)\nOther Chinese SWC learning head units\nEONON\nJOYING\nXTRONS\nPUMPKIN\nImportant Patch Lead Notes\nYou can simply cut the loops / wires to select which brand you are fitting. Supplied with instruction sheet\nThis patch lead CANNOT be used for Blaupunkt / Parrot / Becker / JVC KW-AVX head units / Older Kenwood units with the DIN plug. For those models you need to purchase the lead from the add-on options.\nImportant Fascia Notes\nThe fascias are made to suit industry standard sized stereos such as Pioneer, Kenwood, Sony, Alpine, JVC etc, NOT INCLUDING China units or unbranded units.\nChina units have a reputation to be over sized and may require modification to the fascia to allow it to fit.\nWe do not take any responsibility for China units not fitting as they are not industry standard size.\nCar Audio Fitting Accessories are sold with limited instructions. Some knowledge of car audio installation is helpful, as in some rare case \"modification\" is necessary.\nPlease make sure that is the correct Fitting Kit for your vehicle by firstly checking to see if your vehicle make, model and year is listed in the description.
