"description": "Complete stereo upgrade fitting kit to install a Double DIN aftermarket radio and retain the use of the steering wheel controls in Volkswagen Touareg I (2003-2009) vehicles.\nPackage Includes\nDouble Din Fascia Adaptor\n103MM Double Din Fitting Cage\nSteering Control Interface\nFakra to Din Antenna Adaptor\nUniversal Patch Lead (Included)\nFascia Adaptor\nThis adaptor will convert the non din-sized aperture left after removing the factory stereo to a din size ready for head unit installation. The high quality finish, colour and texture are designed specifically to maintain the original look of your vehicles interior.\nReplacement car audio facia to enable you to change the original radio in the car to a Double DIN aftermarket version\nFits Volkswagen Touareg (2003-2009) models.\nThis fascia is designed to replace the wider rectangular OEM radios.\nSteering Wheel Interface\nA stalk/steering wheel control adaptor allows you to upgrade to an aftermarket head unit whilst maintaining use of your factory steering wheel controls or fitted on a stalk next to the steering wheel.\nCANbus steering wheel audio control interface for VW Touareg (2002-2010) cars with quadlock connectors behind the radio.\nThis interface uses quadlock connections behind the original radio to allow the use of the original steering wheel control buttons with a new aftermarket head-unit. It also provides CANbus outputs as well as Ignition, speed pulse, reverse, handbrake and illumination signals to the new stereo. This interface will also include PHONE functions on some compatible radio's. Seek and Source functions will only work when the car is in AUDIO menu\nThis interface comes with a universal patch lead which can be used with Alpine, Blaupunkt, Clarion, Pioneer, JVC, Kenwood, Sony or Zenec Head-units.\nSeek and Source functions will only work when the car is in AUDIO menu\nAerial Adaptor\nAn Aerial Adaptor is needed when replacing the original factory fitted head unit with an aftermarket head unit.\nThis cable converts the original antenna connector in the car, known as a Fakra connector, to a standard aftermarket antenna connector, known as a DIN connector. The adapter cable has a built in module which provides a phantom power feed to the original antenna in the car. A phantom power feed is a 12v power supply that is sent up the centre wire of the antenna cable, this powers the amplifier built into the original antenna. The antenna adapter cable has a loose wire which needs to be connected to the 12v antenna power output of the new aftermarket stereo.\nDouble DIN Metal Cage Kit\nThis kit is designed to replace the metal cage kit that is usually supplied with your new aftermarket double din head-unit or navigation system. It is used along with fascia's that have 103mm high hole sizes. This cage kit comes complete with fixings to attach to the new car radio body.\nImportant Fascia Notes\nThe fascias are made to suit industry standard sized stereos such as Pioneer, Kenwood, Sony, Alpine, JVC etc, NOT INCLUDING China units or unbranded units.\nChina units have a reputation to be over sized and may require modification to the fascia to allow it to fit.\nWe do not take any responsibility for China units not fitting as they are not industry standard size.\nCar Audio Fitting Accessories are sold with limited instructions. Some knowledge of car audio installation is helpful, as in some rare case \"modification\" is necessary.\nPlease make sure that is the correct Fitting Kit for your vehicle by firstly checking to see if your vehicle make, model and year is listed in the description. Secondly by checking to see if the connection & Shape in the picture listed is the same as you have in your vehicle. If in doubt please email us with your vehicle details and we will confirm what you require.",
