"description": "Complete stereo upgrade kit to install a double din aftermarket radio in a 2008 - 2015 Skoda Superb with original Swing or Bolero radios and retain the use of the original steering wheel audio control buttons.\nThis fitting kit comes with two separate fascias, the first (left main image) mounts the new aftermarket radio into the dashboard and the second (right main image) finishes off the installation, filling out the gaps between the left hand fascia and the rest of the dashboard. An image of a radio fitted is below.\nThe fascia is supplied with side mounting brackets so no additional radio fitting cage is required.\nPackage Includes:\nFascia Adaptor Panels\nRadio Adaptor Cable\nCAN BUS Steering Wheel Control Interface\nAntenna Adaptor Cable\nUniversal patch lead (Included)\nFascia Adaptor:\nThis adaptor will convert the non din-sized aperture left after removing the factory stereo to a din size ready for head unit installation. The high quality finish, colour and texture are designed specifically to maintain the original look of your vehicles interior.\nSteering Control Adaptor:\nA stalk/steering wheel control adaptor enables you to utilise the original factory remote audio (whether built onto steering wheel or fitted on a stalk next to the steering wheel) with an aftermarket unit.\nThe CANbus steering wheel control interface is built in to the adapter cable.\nThis interface will allow the original audio control buttons on the steering wheel to work with the new aftermarket radio. The interface will work the volume, track skip, source, mute and phone buttons.\nThe CANbus interface will also provide a key present ignition, illumination, speed pulse, reverse gear and handbrake outputs. A key present ignition means the stereo will turn on with the first click of the key and stay on until the key is removed from the ignition barrel.\nAntenna Adaptor\nA double Fakra to DIN antenna adapter is included in the kit. This adapts from the original antenna connector in the car to a standard aftermarket DIN antenna connection.\nUniversal Patch Lead\nA universal patch lead is supplied in the kit, this is to pair the steering control interface to the steering control input of Alpine, Clarion, JVC, Kenwood, Pioneer and Sony head units.\nFOR UNBRANDED/ CHINESE HEAD UNITS YOU WILL REQUIRE A DEDICATED 49-000 PATCH LEAD\nBelow is an image of a radio fitted using this kit.\nImportant Fascia Notes\nThe fascias are made to suit industry standard sized stereos such as Pioneer, Kenwood, Sony, Alpine, JVC etc, NOT INCLUDING China units or unbranded units.\nChina units have a reputation to be over sized and may require modification to the fascia to allow it to fit.\nWe do not take any responsibility for China units not fitting as they are not industry standard size.\nCar Audio Fitting Accessories are sold with limited instructions.
