View Two Maps at the Same Time
 Put a map with a zoomed-in view on the main screen for a close look at motorway exit numbers, one way streets and other details. Keep the usual low-zoom map on the side screen to get the big picture.
Highway Mode  In addition to a view of the map, this mode gives you various detailed information such as upcoming rest stops. You can see the distance and estimated arrival time, and what types of facilities are there, such as petrol stations and restaurants.
Wide Country Coverage  The INE-S900R provides map software for 35 countries. The menu shows country flags and abbreviations, making selection easy. When selected, the country is indicated on the map.
Full Route Overview After Calculation
 After the system calculates your route, you can view the entire route on the map. You see your trip with one look, so it’s easy to make desired adjustments.

Start-up is much quicker than other systems and route calculation is ultra fast: for example, for a 1600km route, calculation is done in only 6 seconds, as opposed to the common one minute for competitors.
 Advanced TMC Mode Advanced TMC is a great time saver! It keeps you abreast of road delays and shows you how to avoid them. With one look you see your current route in red and an alternate route in green, plus the difference in time and distance. Just press OK to choose the new route.
Personal POI Importing  If you have set personal POIs on Google Maps, etc., you can download them to a USB stick and import them. You can also download desired POIs (favourite petrol stations, coffee shops, etc.) from POI websites.
Consistently High Accuracy  Alpine uses both a gyro sensor and a speed pulse feed to ensure accurate positioning at all times. Even with temporary loss of the GPS signal, such as in tunnels or near many high buildings, the system maintains its high accuracy.
